At Frezamet Bis, we are continually developing our technological capabilities to meet the growing demands of clients from various industrial sectors. One of the more significant stages in the company's development was the implementation of new Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (Wire EDM) technology and the launch of a modern machine. The investment was implemented within a project co-financed by the European Union, entitled „Expansion of the company's operations through the implementation of a new material processing method”.
New opportunities with FANUC ROBOCUT
Purchase of a wire EDM machine FANUC ROBOCUT allowed Frezamet Bis to expand its offering to include the precise cutting of components with complex shapes, which would be difficult or uneconomical to produce using traditional machining methods.
Wire EDM technology allows for the production of components characterised by:
- with very high dimensional accuracy,
- excellent surface quality,
- the possibility of machining difficult-to-machine materials,
- realisation of complex geometries and contours,
- lack of cutting forces acting on the workpiece.
This allows us to undertake even more demanding projects for clients in the mechanical engineering, automotive, electronics, and many other industrial sectors.

The project's implementation has not only allowed for the introduction of a new material processing method, but has also increased the company's potential and created conditions for further technological development.
The funds obtained have enabled the purchase, installation, and commissioning of modern equipment used in the production process, as well as the implementation of solutions supporting the plant's energy efficiency.

The implementation of wire electrical discharge machining allows us to offer our clients even greater production flexibility and the ability to produce components requiring the highest precision.
