New machine in the Frezamet Bis machine park
We are investing in the development of our production capabilities! To the Frezamet Bis machine park a new one has joined CNC lathe Hyundai WIA SE2200LSY. This is another step towards increasing the company's technological potential, developing precision machining services, and even better adapting production to the needs of our industrial customers.
Hyundai WIA SE2200LSY – precision and versatility
The new turning machine combines the capabilities of CNC turning with milling and machining in the Y-axis. This allows us to perform more complex operations in one station, reducing the need to transfer parts between machines and the number of additional attachments.
To the most important features of the model Hyundai WIA SE2200LSY they include:
- Axis Y – enables milling operations to be performed outside the axis of the workpiece rotation, including processing of side surfaces, grooves, and other elements requiring precise positioning.
- Driven tools – allow the combination of turning with milling and drilling in one technological cycle.
- The opposite happened – enables the machining of the second side of the part, reducing the need for manual transfer of the elements and supporting the automation of the process.
- High rigidity of the structure – one-piece, inclined bed provides stable conditions
processing. - Advanced technological capabilities – the machine handles parts with a maximum turning diameter of up to 300 mm and a turning length of up to 508 mm, and the maximum bar diameter for the main spindle is 65 mm.
The combination of these functions allows for the efficient processing of both complex turned and milled details as well as components intended for mass production.
Already the third CNC lathe with Y-axis
The purchase of the Hyundai WIA SE2200LSY is another step in the development of our capabilities in the field of multi-task CNC machining. This is already the third Y-axis machine in the Frezamet Bis machine park.
The expansion of this machine group increases our capabilities in terms of production planning, the selection of the optimal technology, and the execution of orders that require the combination of turning and milling operations. It also allows us to more flexibly organize the work of the machine park and better tailor solutions to the specificities of individual projects.

Relocation of machines and preparation of workstations
The installation of the new lathe also required changes in the organization of the production space. To properly prepare the space for the next machine, it was necessary to relocate several machines and reorganize selected workstations.
